User's forget their login name
Finally started analyzing a company's web site login activity.
Interesting to find that 5% of a day's login's, the users have forgotten
their loginname. People need to figure out a better way to deal with this.
Most obivious would be to use an email address as the login names. Almost
everyone who uses the web has an email address. Correct?
Will be interesting to see how often people consistantly forget their id ;-)

First Blog Entry
About time I got on the blogging bandwagon.
Let's see how long this lasts.
Usenet activity last a couple of years.
I guess we all need to evolve.
My background:
Worked at a University, now working at a Financial Institution.
Computer security, unix, log analysis monkey, jack of all trades.
Tools: Perl, TCL, unix, windows
Prior identities: desai@eecs.uic.edu
